Article Summary & Methods Section

Summarize Houghton, Upadhyay, and Klin (2018)’s paper about punctuation changing how people perceive one-word responses in text message exchanges. Summarize all of the main sections of the paper – Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion.

Write an APA-format methods section describing the experiment we did in class. Sections should include participants, materials, and procedure. Make sure you explain how the experiment worked clearly enough so that someone else could replicate this experiment after reading your paper. Identify the independent and dependent variables.

The entire document should be about 2-3 pages, double spaced. An APA format title page is not necessary. Please include a citation for the article you’re summarizing, and any other articles you mention.
